Making digital measuring devices for intralogistics available worldwide
The Gelsenkirchen-based measurement technology company KHT, which specializes in order picking and handling technology for intralogistics, is expanding its international activities as part of a realignment of its sales strategy. With successful sales partnerships already in place in Austria and the Netherlands, the company is now focusing on the markets in Russia, France, the UK and Central and North America.

A sales partner has been acquired for the Russian market. Contacts already existed with the Moscow-based consulting company, which are now leading to intensive cooperation. "Together, we are pursuing the clear goal of giving Russian customers access to our intralogistics solutions and offering them optimal services," says KHT Managing Director Christian Bauer. The scanners and picking machines will also soon be available on the French market and the market launch is imminent. "The first test installations for our Multiscan product range have already been installed there," says Bauer happily. "And contracts will soon be signed with a renowned sales partner for the UK too." On the American continent, KHT has set its sights on the markets in the USA and Panama in particular. In the Central American country, the search for a partner to manage and promote sales of the "Made in Gelsenkirchen" products has been successfully concluded. The aim is also to be ready in the USA by the end of the year. "We want to get started there with two to three partners in 2018," says Bauer.
The MultiScan devices from KHT Messtechnik enable precise and error-free measurements of goods and products and thus generate master data, the quality of which is crucial for the automation of warehouses. "With our measurement technology, 'Industry 4.0' is finding its way into our customers' warehouses," KHT Managing Directors Jürgen Gessner and Christian Bauer are certain. "We want to make this benefit known everywhere with our new sales strategy." The conversion of sales activities in Germany has already resulted in the acquisition of a number of well-known new customers. The concept is also proving successful in Austria and the Netherlands. Both the Graz-based company LNConsult and the partner responsible for the Netherlands, Logistore from Tilburg, reported excellent sales figures for 2017 and very high demand for KHT's digital measuring devices.
