Jungheinrich reorganizes responsibilities on the Board of Management

The Supervisory Board of Jungheinrich AG has decided on key personnel decisions to ensure long-term continuity in the management of the company.

Christian Erlach (56) will become the new Chief Sales Officer of Jungheinrich AG with effect from September 1, 2018. He began his career at Jungheinrich in 2007 as Managing Director of Jungheinrich Austria and has been Regional Manager at Jungheinrich AG since 2013, gradually assuming responsibility for the regions of South East Europe, South America and South Africa.

As part of the targeted preparation for the planned takeover of the position of CEO in 2019, the current Chief Sales Officer Dr. Lars Brzoska (45) will take over the vacant Technology department on September 1, 2018. He has been very successful in the position of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer since 2014.

Hans-Georg Frey will stand for election to the Supervisory Board in 2019 after stepping down as Chairman of the Management Board. The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jürgen Peddinghaus, will step down from his position in 2019. Mr. Frey is to succeed him in this position at the request of the Wolf and Lange shareholder families.
