Dambach storage systems: Saving energy in the high-bay pre-zone
Dambach Lagersysteme sees itself as a partner to system integrators and general contractors in the automated storage systems market segment. To this end, the manufacturer supplies storage and retrieval machines up to 45 meters high with their own telescopic forks, shuttles for a load capacity of 1,500 kilograms and pallet conveyor technology. The storage and retrieval machines can be equipped with an energy recovery system without power recovery. Power caps are used for energy storage, which cushion the power peaks. In addition to a 30 percent reduction in energy consumption, the installation of grid feed-in can be reduced by 80 percent if the technology is implemented consistently. Transfer cars with Dambach energy storage technology achieve a very high throughput rate.
