AR Racking builds new warehouse in Great Britain
P&B Foods Ltd. is the largest importer of Asian food in the UK. The company has entrusted AR Racking with the installation of a new warehouse, which is being built on the new Prologis Park Bradford industrial estate in the north of the country. The solution is a combination of two storage systems:
A pallet storage system with 15,190 pallet spaces and a drive-in system that can hold 6,622 pallets. This results in a total storage capacity of 21,812 pallets for products such as spices, lentils, flour and rice. The conventional pallet racking system called rack selectivo is characterized by great agility and efficiency because it can be adapted to any possible load and lifting gear and allows immediate access to all load units. Components are easy to assemble, dismantle and replace.
