The Robotics Award is presented annually by Deutsche Messe at the Hannover Messe and honors robot-supported automation and logistics solutions. This year's award-winning project MARI AARS is an AI-controlled robotics platform for fast and code-free programming. This is made possible by advanced 3D scanning, automatic generation of robot paths and an intuitive graphical flowchart user interface that eliminates the dependency on coding and CAD files. In addition, the MARI AARS platform includes functions that compensate for deviations and thus ensure a consistent level of quality.

In her laudatory speech, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Annika Raatz from Leibniz University, a member of the jury, praised the outstanding innovation of this robotics platform: "With its autonomous path planning, MARI solves one of the biggest challenges of high-mix production, namely the constant reprogramming and set-up. This opens up new opportunities, especially for small and medium-sized companies, which will also help to counter the shortage of skilled workers." The award was presented by Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman and CEO of Deutsche Messe: "Maple Advanced Robotics is a Canadian company that stands for the enormous innovative strength of our partner country. Canada has long since established itself as a leader in the field of robotics, with a strong research community and a culture of creativity and collaboration. Canadian companies will be demonstrating this at Hannover Messe this year."
