A-Safe: New app for monitoring shelving systems
The experts for operational safety, A-Safe, have developed a new product, RackEye, which, according to the manufacturer, is revolutionizing rack protection in companies. The app-based solution enables the permanent monitoring of racking systems. With this solution, companies can save costs on rack inspection and maintenance. Shelving systems are an important link in the logistics chain. However, they are particularly susceptible to damage from forklift trucks or other work equipment. There is a risk that they will lose their load-bearing capacity and collapse. If this were to happen, the consequences for the company would be very costly. Regular inspection of racking is therefore essential and an early warning system is highly recommended.
