Assistance system for handling long loads: new development of the Load Manager
Hubtex is bringing the new generation of the Hubtex Load Manager (HLM) to Logimat. The assistance system has been specially optimized to meet the requirements of drivers handling long loads.
In addition to supporting the precise control of the target position and the optimum lift height, the system offers optional preselection options for fork adjustment and mast extension. This ensures precise and damage-free transportation of long goods in rack aisles. In addition to the HLM, Hubtex is also presenting two new vehicle series.
Complementary assistance system
The HLM helps the driver to transport bulky, long or heavy loads without causing damage or to store and retrieve them. The HLM is freely programmable as an electronic lift height preselector with 199 positions. The lift mast remains at the preselected shelf level. The driver can preselect whether the goods are to be stored or retrieved. This saves time and at the same time reduces damage to the stored goods caused by uncontrolled insertion into the shelf compartment.
In addition to the fork zero position and tilt angle preselection, the standard equipment now also includes lift and lowering limitation using a sensor system mounted on the vehicle. The system can be supplemented in conjunction with other assistance systems. Additional operating elements, such as a menu controller, also ensure ergonomic operation of the Load Manager.
Further features planned
By combining the HLM with other assistance systems, users can, for example, integrate the display for load moment and residual load capacity monitoring. Hubtex is working on integrating further features into the HLM, such as a load weighing device or further combination options for horizontal positioning in the rack aisle and a connection to warehouse management systems.
