Predictive maintenance: intelligent current collector system
Paul Vahle's presence at the trade fair in Stuttgart will focus on predictive maintenance. The system provider for mobile industrial applications will be demonstrating its intelligent current collector system, the Smart Collector, live in action.
The predictive maintenance tool detects system anomalies before production downtimes occur. The Kamen-based company will also be presenting solutions in the field of energy transmission and process automation for mobile applications. The latest non-contact and conductive energy supply systems specifically for intralogistics applications will also be at the trade fair.
More system availability and productivity
The Smart Collector aims to set new standards in terms of system availability and productivity and be a pioneering solution for intralogistics. Thanks to the early detection of faults and anomalies, it enables a worry-free and more efficient supply chain process. The tool for conductor rail systems is on display as a fully functional system, including the latest developments. For example, by extending the phase spacing, the Smart Collector can be used with a spacing of 14 millimetres as well as 18 or 26 millimetres. This upgrade opens up numerous application possibilities in various areas of intralogistics, such as skid systems, automatic storage systems, pallet floor conveyors, conveyor systems and sorting applications. The integration of a new thermal sensor helps to improve process reliability and increases system availability.
The company will be showcasing further application solutions for intralogistics systems and specific concepts for intralogistics applications, such as for energy supply and secure data communication.
