Intelligently networked technologies for climate-friendly logistics
At the Logimat stand, SEW-Eurodrive presented the Movi-C modular automation system as a suitable answer to current intralogistics issues such as increasing throughput, reducing CO2 emissions, flexibility, digitalization and high system availability.
The consistent modularization of drive and automation technology plays a decisive role here. The modular automation system should be able to react flexibly to all adaptations in the most diverse areas of application in the logistics industry. This applies, for example, to storage and retrieval machines, sorters, shuttle solutions and pallet lifters in storage systems or conveyor and lifting modules in transport technology.
The Movilink-DDI digital data interface between the SEW drive unit and Movi-C inverter ensures end-to-end networking of the logistics modules. It enables maximum transparency in real time right up to the cloud.
