Söhner's packaging solutions for internal material flow

The packaging manufacturer Söhner Kunststofftechnik specializes in the production of thermoformed load carriers and presents a packaging unit for automated handling.

The unit consists of a plastic pallet, two underride aids and workpiece carriers. The latter guarantee a secure and precise fit of the components. The underride aids enable the workpiece carriers to be lifted and inserted into a production system in stacks. A conveyor belt transports them to the handling station, where the components are removed by robot. Barcode labels or RFID tags are used to identify the load carriers in the system. Another highlight at the Söhner Kunststofftechnik stand is the MegaPack Jumbo. The large load carrier has a robust twin-sheet ring and is primarily used for transporting heavy products or products with high protection requirements.

Certification as a hazardous goods container is possible for solid hazardous goods.
