Changes in consumer behaviour, new tasks in the value chain and online trends combined with digitalization and the Internet of Things are posing new questions for supply chains in the consumer goods industry. Miebach Consulting and GS1 Germany want to use the survey to assess the significance of the various trends and also identify future-proof concepts for efficient and controllable supply chains.

"The aim of this survey is to identify relevant supply chain potential for companies based on current and future changes in the market. We want to show which concepts can enable an agile, responsive, yet efficient and controllable supply chain today and in the future. " - says Pank Bedaux, Partner & Global Expert Consumer Goods Industry, Miebach Consulting. The results of the survey, which will run until December 15, will be made available to participants.
