Law firms Arnecke Sibeth and Dabelstein & Passehl merge
Arnecke Sibeth will also be represented by a strong unit in Hamburg and Leer from the beginning of 2018: Dabelstein & Passehl and Arnecke Sibeth have decided to merge the two law firms with effect from 01.01.2018.
From spring 2018, the lawyers will operate together under the umbrella of Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein. With six offices in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Leer and Dresden, the major law firm aims to offer a comprehensive regional presence in important business centers in Germany and an even broader range of services. With the merger with colleagues from Dabelstein & Passehl, Arnecke Sibeth will become the largest provider of legal services for national and global companies in the transportation, logistics, maritime and aviation sectors in Germany. The other core competencies of corporate, finance, insurance law and energy will also benefit from more capacity, additional expertise and new locations that are important for the sectors - especially the office in Hamburg. In addition, the real estate expertise for which Arnecke Sibeth is known will be expanded in Hamburg.
The new unit will be headed by three managing partners: The team consists of Dr. Wolfgang Scholl, one of the current Managing Partners of Arnecke Sibeth and his fellow Managing Partner Dr. Maximilian Gutsche. Marco Remiorz, currently Deputy Managing Partner at Dabelstein & Passehl, will join the management team. red
