Exciting products in the quiver
In the second part of materialfluss' exclusive encouraging survey on the economic outlook for 2023, six other industry experts give their views. Ken Dufford, Vice President Europe at Crown, is one of them.
The past two corona years have already shown that Crown can reliably survive even in difficult times, both as a logistics partner for its customers and as a responsible employer. Our employees have always demonstrated their efficiency and ingenuity to offer our customers unique solutions in an unprecedented time. We have revised and developed almost all of our product ranges. We have exciting and innovative products and services in store for the new year - both products that are part of Crown's traditional product portfolio and the expansion of our product range to include new electric, diesel and LPG forklifts with load capacities of up to 5.5 tons. In view of the current global situation in particular, we assume that the market slowdown in terms of incoming orders will continue, but is unlikely to intensify further. As the order books in our industry and in other industrial sectors are well filled, the economic impact is likely to be mitigated, at least in the short to medium term.
