Logistics service provider expands portfolio
Rhenus Group takes over logistics service provider LTK
The Rhenus Group acquired the Spanish logistics service provider LTK on January 27. The merger enables the company to enter the European aeronautics market and expand its activities in the Spanish aerospace sector.
The German logistics service provider, Rhenus, now has more than 26,000 square meters of warehouse capacity in the Spanish cities of Madrid, Álava, Seville and Cádiz. LTK supplies Airbus and Alestis Aerospace production sites, among others. The company handles over one million incoming and outgoing goods per year.
All locations are certified in accordance with the EN 9120 standard for aerospace and defense distributors and warehouse keepers. In addition to warehousing, LTK offers supply chain management, procurement, return and spare parts logistics, quality inspections as well as industrial handling and aircraft ground handling.
