Companies whose business conditions have changed significantly as a result of the crisis are to be supported in this way. This applies to increased workloads, sickness-related absences and short-time working.

Hospitals, production facilities, but also food logistics and parcel services are reaching the limits of their capacity, which can only be managed by reorganizing shift and duty schedules. Other companies have to worry about maintaining their regular operations in the face of increasing sickness rates. Many companies are being forced to reduce staffing levels due to the economic situation and register for short-time working.

The free emergency shift plans are aimed at companies whose business conditions have changed significantly as a result of the crisis, so that the previous shift plans no longer work. Inform supports companies with challenges such as

  • high workload situations that can only be managed by reorganizing shift and duty schedules.
  • when staffing levels have to be reduced due to the economic situation, e.g. by using short-time working.
  • Problems in maintaining regular operations because an increasing number of employees are absent due to illness.

Inform makes a short phone call to find out what the company's problem is and to clarify the feasibility. Inform then creates an optimized shift plan based on a few agreed key data points, which is then sent to the company. Inform always adapts the plans to changing conditions. "The aim is to quickly and easily generate new shift plans for the coming days. We can respond to the new situation with schedules that may reach the maximum limits, that work particularly cleverly and socially acceptable under short-time working or that provide particularly creative solutions for staffing during high sickness rates," says Dr. Jörg Herbers, Head of Workforce Management at Inform (pictured).

Inform contributes its expertise in the field of workforce scheduling quickly and unbureaucratically and builds shift plans without installations, training or lengthy configurations in order to avoid additional work for affected companies. "In the current situation, we want to help quickly and easily with a pragmatic shift plan so that companies can focus on their operations," says Herbers. "We are rolling up our sleeves and helping with the experience we have in this area."
