The LogiVisor Awards were presented for the first time this year. The competition was launched by the business location platform Gewerbegebiete.de, which aims to put the spotlight on innovative logistics solutions. Successful projects in the areas of fashion & lifestyle, retail & e-commerce, industry and consumer products were evaluated by a jury of 21 experts. "We are delighted to receive this award on behalf of all the teams at Fiege who are working on new ideas for innovative logistics solutions", said Jens Fiege. "I would also like to thank our customer Deichmann for their long-standing trust and openness to innovative concepts, as well as our partner Magazino, with whom we are doing pioneering work for robotics in intralogistics."

In the Fashion & Lifestyle category, Fiege convinced the industry jury, consisting of experts Stefan Röbel (Asos) Maximilian Molkenthin (Puma) and Guido Jaenisch (Takko), with the use of a picking robot in shoe picking at Europe's largest shoe retailer at the Fiege location in Ibbenbüren. Thanks to camera control and the use of a vacuum gripper arm, the little helper is able to remove parcels from shelves and prepare them for transportation to the packing stations.

The logistics solutions submitted were measured by their quality, complexity and degree of innovation. In addition, the jury teams also included the corporate responsibility practiced by the logistics service providers behind the solutions in their assessment - for example with regard to compliance with high social and ecological standards and the active promotion of further training, health and social life.
