Duvenbeck Group takes over Sander Logistics Group
The Duvenbeck Group is expanding its presence and capabilities in northern Germany with the acquisition of the Sander Logistics Group. With locations in Hamburg, Itzehoe, Rostock, Halle and Moosburg, Sander complements the existing Duvenbeck network and improves access to key markets in northern and eastern Germany.
"The acquisition of Sander is a logical and consistent implementation of the goals we have set ourselves. We are expanding our presence both geographically and in terms of customer industries," explains Hakan Bicil, CEO of the Duvenbeck Group. "With the additional locations, particularly in northern Germany, and Sander's in-depth expertise, we are creating additional benefits for both Duvenbeck and Sander customers.
Sander will continue to operate on the market under the traditional Sander brand. This will ensure that established customer relationships and individual services are maintained, while at the same time the company can draw on the resources and network of the Duvenbeck Group.
