The requirements that must be met in order to receive the "Safe against Corona" quality seal are based on the legal regulations applicable at the time of the audit in accordance with the Infection Protection Act (IfSG), the applicable recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute as well as the SARS-CoV-2 occupational health and safety standard and other industry-specific hygiene rules.

"The protection and safety of our customers, employees and partners is our top priority. We are therefore particularly proud to be one of the first companies in the intralogistics industry to receive the "Safe against Corona" quality seal from TÜV Hessen," says Jan Lorenz, Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Germany. "The seal confirms that our hygiene and protection concept meets all official requirements. It also sets out how we enable safe collaboration on our customers' premises".

At the end of November 2020, the individual concept for compliance with the necessary protective and hygiene measures in dealing with the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and its implementation within the operational processes was approved by TÜV Hessen. In addition to compliance with the AHA rules, the measures include the provision of protective and hygiene equipment for office and field staff.
