Services from Konecranes and Demag under one roof
On July 1, Konecranes integrated the Demag Industrial Service division into its maintenance and repair offering. The two service organizations operate under the name Konecranes GmbH.
The merged service organization will therefore continue to be an OEM service provider for both brands and will continue the long-standing customer relationships of Demag Industrial Service. "This expands our service network and our portfolio covering the entire life cycle of cranes from all manufacturers," explains Nico Zamzow, Vice President Industrial Service EMEA Central at Konecranes. "We remain the professional OEM service provider for Konecranes and Demag and are available to our long-standing customers of all brands in an advisory and operational capacity to safeguard their work processes."
The brands' business with new cranes, components and drive technology as well as the business areas of Port Solutions will remain unaffected by the integration. The service organization will benefit from combining the expertise of the experienced technicians. "By combining the know-how of Demag Industrial Service and Konecranes, we can offer the broadest range of services on the market," emphasizes Nico Zamzow. "The integrated service portfolio includes all services that increase the safety and productivity of our customers' installations - from inspections to our comprehensive training and certification program."
