Construction work on the new company building in the Dornbrunnen industrial estate in Rosenfeld began with the official ground-breaking ceremony on May 4, 2020. Twelve months later, the production and storage areas (2,245 m²) and a two-storey administration building (740 m²) at Maybachstrasse 7 have been completed. The approximately 40 employees of the vacuum technology specialist have now also moved into their modern premises on the 7,740 m² site.

"With this investment, Eurotech is taking another important step towards a successful future," emphasizes Thomas Schulz, Managing Director of the medium-sized company. "The spatial repositioning was necessary in order to meet the increased requirements of the industry and the high order volume." Eurotech is thus returning to its roots in Rosenfeld, where the company was founded in 1996 by Peter Bunnenberg. Since 2001, the specialist for vacuum, lifting and transportation technology has been based in nearby Geislingen. Production was also located here, where the premises had long since reached their limits. Another production hall had to be rented in Balingen for years. The new building now not only offers significantly more space, it is also characterized above all by resource and energy efficiency with good connections to the A 81: Built to KfW 55 standards, the building requires only 55% of the energy of a comparable reference building in accordance with the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV). The elimination of transport trips between Geislingen and Balingen and the streamlined work processes also lead to an increase in efficiency of around 20%.

Eurotech received support for the new building from the state of Baden-Württemberg. The funding line "Spitze auf dem Land! Technology leaders for Baden-Württemberg" from the rural development program promotes the development and commercial use of new products and services, among other things. Bau Cooperation from Offenburg was responsible for planning and managing the construction work.
