Solutions for belt transport
Flexco Europe, the specialist for mechanical conveyor belt splicing systems, will be focusing on its transfer solutions at the trade fair. In addition to the proven segmented transfer plates, this also includes the new transfer plates for roller conveyors.
Trade visitors can find out more about roller conveyor transition plates (RCTP), among other things. They can be installed in belt-, shaft- and chain-driven as well as motorized roller conveyors. This ensures that no envelopes, polybags and small packages are lost between the rollers - a problem that occurs time and again in conveyor systems. The RCTP covers the gap between two rollers. This solution makes conveyor belts more productive and safer. This is because employees no longer have to reach between the rollers to pull out conveyed goods. The RCTP is suitable for large quantities of packaged products, which can be very different - soft, flexible, dense and compact.
Segmented transition plates for conveyor systems will also be on show at the trade fair. They create a safe transition from belt to belt or to the transfer hopper; in this way, packages and cases are transported safely and damage is avoided. With the segmented transition plates, the conveyed goods glide smoothly over the plate. Flexco Europe has two variants in its range that are suitable for belts with widths of up to 1,524 and gaps of 100 to 250 or 75 to 150 millimetres. Their bright yellow color makes it easier for service personnel to monitor the individual segments and replace them quickly if necessary. Flexco's Hitch Guard is another practical solution for the safe transfer of conveyed goods: it ensures that no small objects can get caught at critical points on the conveyor belts. This prevents damage to the belt.
