DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center introduces Celluveyor technology
DHL has selected Cellumation's Celluveyor technology for display at the DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center in Singapore. The integrated solution, which combines Cellumation's omnidirectional conveyor belt with a cobot arm, enables the processing and sorting of large volumes in logistics.
The exhibition offers visitors an insight into how automation and intelligent technologies can optimize the flow of goods in logistics. The system is designed to use AI, 3D cameras and computer vision to independently insert, scan and sort small shipments. The combination of the cobot arm and the company's Cv.induct conveyor ensures smooth and efficient sorting processes. The AI-driven system tracks the orientation and position of each shipment and enables precise coordination between the robotic cobot arm and the conveyor belt to effectively transport, orient and feed parcels.
"The DHL Asia Pacific Innovation Center is a place where the world of material handling comes together to explore the latest technological developments," said Dr. Hendrik Thamer, CEO and co-founder of Cellumation. "We are proud that DHL has chosen to exhibit our celluveyor (Cv.induct) here to show how advanced solutions can increase efficiency in material handling. This exhibit is an example of how innovation can shape the future of logistics."
