Complete renovation of the pallet warehouse
ELCO operates a pallet warehouse in Hechingen dating from 1987, which MFI modernized. MFI GmbH modernized control systems and essential elements of the electrical system or replaced individual components in both the conveyor system and the pallet warehouse. On the conveyor system
Euro pallets are transported. MFI completely replaced the conveyor technology control cabinet, integrated a panel for control and monitoring functions and updated the controls to Siemens S7. Individual elements at the I-point, fire door, distribution trolley and on the drive units were also replaced. In addition to the oscillating mirror scanner, a hand scanner was installed at the goods-in area. Modernizations were also carried out in the pallet warehouse: the control cabinets of the two rack vehicles were replaced. The material flow software was also supplied by MFI. A connection to the customer's host/WWS system was also implemented.
