viastore: New logistics center for electrical wholesalers
Emil Löffelhardt GmbH & Co KG, an electrotechnical wholesaler, is building a logistics center in Schorndorf. Viastore is supplying and installing an automated high-bay warehouse in silo design. It offers space for 17,520 pallets, which are transported by eight viapal storage and retrieval machines. Bulky items are stored here. It also serves as a supply warehouse for the five-aisle container warehouse with 91,520 storage locations for fast-moving small items, including control components. 220 viaflex² shuttles automatically store, transfer and retrieve these items. Products such as cable ducts are stored in an additional single-aisle automated tray warehouse for long goods.
