The strength of the new Jumbo Low-Stack from J. Schmalz GmbH is its ability to ergonomically pick up cartons, metal goods or bags from pallets close to the floor.
The handling solution, which is also suitable for immersion in transport containers such as mesh boxes and crates, is based on the modular system of the JumboErgo and Sprint vacuum tube lifters and has a lifting capacity of up to 80 kilograms for suction-tight workpieces. The new operating concept of the vacuum lifter: The employee controls the up and down movement by simply turning a vertical handle, which slides through his hand during the lifting movement and is therefore in control during the entire lifting process. Another new feature is the release function, which eliminates the residual vacuum between the gripper and the workpiece. This allows the suction pad to be detached from the workpiece without additional force.
