Schmalz: Solutions for the digital factory
In the spirit of connectivity and collaboration, J. Schmalz GmbH is demonstrating solutions for the digital factory at the Hannover Messe. The focus will be on networking individual vacuum components and complex gripping systems for portal and robot applications. One highlight is the ECBPi electric vacuum generator. It represents a new generation of intelligent and compressed air-independent systems that are suitable for mobile robotics, fully automated small parts handling and stationary handling tasks with cobots. Via IO-Link, the user receives data on energy consumption and system status as well as recommendations for preventive maintenance. The vacuum generator provides all data in the fieldbus system or in the cloud.
