AMI Fördertechnik: Anniversary: 30 years of success in the market

AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik GmbH is celebrating its 30th anniversary and continuous expansion this year. AMI's focus is on using conveyor, storage and automation technology to solve a wide range of intralogistics tasks for factories efficiently and in line with requirements. The company is also presenting new solutions in its anniversary year, including a pallet inspection system, a picking system (TPC) and an IoT solution that maps all intralogistics processes on a software basis and supports their control. From goods receipt to production, picking and final inspection to shipping: AMI's solutions enable factories in various industries to control their material flow. The portfolio includes both manual and powered components for internal logistics tasks. Light and heavy-duty conveying and automation technologies are used. The classic portfolio is constantly being expanded and adapted. "The market has changed significantly over the past 30 years. Globalization, digitalization and lean management define the industry today. We support these requirements by adapting to the developments of Industry 4.0, among other things, as a solution provider," explains Stefan Brenner, Managing Director of AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik GmbH. This year, AMI launched an IoT solution on the market that is used to map and control intralogistics processes in line with Industry 4.0. The solution links systems and services with each other in a meaningful way, communicating with ERP systems and making controllers such as PLCs visible.
