New interface developed for AGVs
In order to drive networking forward, a project team coordinated by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association has been working since the second half of 2017 on the development of a new interface with which AGVs can communicate with each other regardless of the manufacturer.

German passenger car market gets off to a good start to the year
The VDA reported 269,400 new passenger car registrations in Germany in January 2018. Domestic order intake in January was significantly above the previous year's level. Domestic customers ordered 9% more passenger cars than a year ago.
