Torwegge: Flexible and fully autonomous on the road

Torwegge GmbH & Co KG presents the autonomous version of its Torsten automated guided vehicle system. The company has brought the fully autonomous vehicle onto the market after a short development period. The AGV does not need a master computer for navigation and is able to efficiently fulfill work orders using swarm intelligence. What makes it special is its high level of flexibility. On the one hand, Torsten is an extremely maneuverable and powerful transport vehicle. On the other hand, the innovative design of the control concept means that it can also be expanded into a robot, enabling the AGV to work together with other units in a human-machine interaction environment. Torwegge sees the AGV as an efficient technical intralogistics solution for Industry 4.0. Torsten has already been presented at a trade fair together with partners from the Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL) mechanical engineering network.
