Mobile platform
Perfect flow for heavyweights
The KMP 3000P mobile robotics platform from Kuka is ready for operation 24/7 thanks to its inductive charging concept and brings a new dimension of flow to intralogistics.
Kuka is thus expanding its portfolio in the field of autonomous mobile robotics (AMR). The platform can transport loads of up to three tons. Its omnidirectional drive ensures maximum flexibility in the tightest of spaces in intralogistics.
The KMP 3000P builds on the success of its smaller sister, the KMP 1500P, and masters the transportation of large, unwieldy and heavy components. For loads of more than three tons, two KMP 3000Ps can cooperate in load sharing and transport up to six tons in total; one of the two platforms becomes the master vehicle and sets the direction. Four integrated 3D cameras and two laser scanners enable a 360° view, allowing the platform to detect and avoid obstacles.
