Dematic with doubled trade fair presence and AMR showcase
For the first time, Dematic will be exhibiting at two stands at Logimat. The automation technology provider wants to show how users can master the challenges of intralogistics with its material flow solutions.
Under the motto "Solved: Your Ambition. Our Mission", Dematic is using various showcases, including autonomous mobile robots (AMR), to demonstrate how automated processes are preparing companies for the warehouse of the future. Gunter Van Deun, Head of Marketing, Communications and Business Development at Dematic in EMEA, explains the slogan: "It's easy to understand: Every customer has ambitions and individual growth and change targets for their business. A reliable partner like Dematic supports them in realizing these visions."
New solutions at two trade fair stands
Visitors to the trade fair will experience an interactive stand with a wide range of solutions. The focus will be on automated processes and services for the warehouse of the future. The technology showcases will be located in Hall 1, while the stand in Hall 10 will focus on consulting services and demonstrations of Kion Integrated Solutions from brands such as Dematic, Still and Linde Material Handling.
A new bin-to-picker AMR solution can be seen in Hall 1: Here, autonomous mobile robots (AMR) take over the automatic removal and storage of bins from a rack storage system. In this context, Dematic will also be presenting state-of-the-art software that is seamlessly integrated into the AMR picking demonstration. Under the precise guidance of the Dematic software, the robots move skillfully through the warehouse to transport the selected bins safely to the picking station.
Inspection procedure with drone
The AMR picking demo also includes a service showcase with an ergonomics check. The future of inspection processes will be demonstrated with a live drone inspection and a thermology check. This ensures efficient monitoring and analysis of warehouse stocks. In addition, a case study with the integration of two static pouch arms will be visualized via screen. An additional touchscreen will allow trade fair visitors to interactively explore the technical details of the pouch solution and gain an in-depth insight into the performance and functionality of the technology.
