Malorg helps build logistics center
With the planned construction of a new logistics center in Herne, Nordfrost from Schortens in Friesland is strengthening its activities in the Ruhr region, where it is currently represented with five of a total of 35 locations. Nordfrost cooperated with the Dortmund-based consultancy Malorg Consulting in the preliminary logistics planning for the project. A new feature for Nordfrost is the realization of a high-bay warehouse from which the staging zones for forwarding handling are served automatically and replenishment for packing takes place. Malorg Consulting planned the automated picking system.
