Material flow computer
Support for people
Sysmat, a regular guest at Logimat, is bringing its proprietary Mat-Control graphics solution to Stuttgart this year. Thanks to its many flexible interfaces, the graphical material flow computer harmonizes systems from more than 30 manufacturers.
Sustainability, artificial intelligence and ergonomics are the buzzwords at Logimat this time. Sysmat says it feels particularly at home in this environment and is presenting Mat-Control graphics. With the associated Service Bot module, the software is equipped with an element from the field of artificial intelligence. The aim is to provide customers with daily automated support for troubleshooting. The material flow computer reveals sources of error in intralogistics processes and creates opportunities to exploit optimization potential. It shows the respective status of the various systems on a graphical interface - including any faults. Users can see them at a glance and rectify them quickly, thus avoiding downtime.
The statement that humans and machines are not a team, but competitors, persists. However, technology is not intended to replace humans, but to support them. Sysmat has taken this as its motto for the service bot and wants to improve communication between man and machine. For example, operators can make corrections in all systems. The module enables data to be synchronized independently according to a comprehensive set of rules when the component is switched back to automatic mode. This increases process reliability and eliminates subsequent errors thanks to the rule-based algorithm, according to Sysmat.
