Continuing on the road to success with Industry 4.0

Around 750 systems in operation and over 300,000 load carriers - Friedrich Remmert GmbH can look back on 70 years of successful company history. Founded in 1945 as a small craft business, the company is now an expert in intelligent long goods and sheet metal storage systems: To date, Remmert has developed around 750 systems with over 300,000 load carriers.

Around 140,000 picks are made here every day. The company from East Westphalia is primarily active in Europe. "As a medium-sized company, we are pleased to supply customers throughout Europe, but also in the USA, Russia, Canada, Australia and China," reports Stephan Remmert, Managing Director of Friedrich Remmert GmbH. After strengthening sales in Austria in August, further branches are now to be established across Europe. At least five by 2020. "We attach great importance to continuing on our path towards Industry 4.0. We see great potential here, particularly with regard to flexible automation solutions," explains Matthias Remmert, also Managing Director of Friedrich Remmert GmbH.
