Blume Rollen: New linear sorter celebrates its premiere

Blume Rollen presents a new linear sorter with connection to a driverless transport system for lightweight containers and cardboard boxes weighing up to 31.5 kg. The BLUsorter is a new development for sorting (double-sided infeed and outfeed at a 90° angle) in the medium capacity sector up to 1,200 containers per hour and is a further addition to the BLUlight modular system, which the manufacturer from Radevormwald integrates into coherent material flow concepts. The coordinated concept between BLUsorter and AGV is suitable for transport tasks in the areas of production, incoming and outgoing goods, order picking and dispatch. Blume implements the necessary communication and information exchange via a PLC control system with a connection to the material flow computer and higher-level ERP systems.
