Renault's new distribution models
Fuel consumption down seven percent
Renault Trucks launches the 2019 version of the Renault Trucks D and D Wide distribution vehicles. New engines meeting the Euro 6 D emissions standard and improved aerodynamics enable a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 7 percent.
The new features include improvements in the areas of aerodynamics and driving comfort. In addition, the vehicles are equipped with new engines that comply with the Euro VI Stage D emissions standard. The engines now comply with the Euro VI Stage D emissions standard, which comes into force at the beginning of September 2019. To reduce fuel consumption, the 5 and 8-liter engines have been given revised software. All auxiliary units have also been revised. The aerodynamics of the Renault Trucks D and D Wide models have been further optimized to reduce drag. The new 2019 version is therefore equipped with a new side spoiler and an adjustable roof spoiler. Thanks to its 12 different adjustment positions, it can be adapted to any type of vehicle body.
Assistance systems for greater safety
New assistance systems are also designed to ensure greater safety and increased driving comfort. The adjustable cruise control (ACC) automatically maintains a minimum distance from the vehicle in front. This can reduce driver fatigue in particular. The adjustable speed limiter (ASL) is also integrated.
