Mobile solution
Manage transport orders via smartphone and tablet
Logistische Informationssysteme AG (LIS) will be presenting numerous new and further developments at Logistics & Distribution in Zurich on April 10 and 11. The focus will be on the new mobile application AppSped, which enables transport orders to be processed quickly and easily via mobile devices.
The app also supports drivers in various processes, from communication to damage documentation. At the trade fair in Zurich, LIS will also be showcasing the FTL module, which has been specially designed for freight transport. When designing AppSped, it was particularly important to the company to be able to easily map even complex interrelationships by developing modern, intuitive user interfaces. In addition, the new tool offers numerous functions that support drivers in their day-to-day work - including an integrated workflow manager.
Advantageous for dispatchers: The application allows orders to be sent directly to the drivers electronically. The app also provides all relevant information about the respective work steps and processes in real time. "We are still seeing a growing demand for mobile solutions for order management. We have now responded to this with the development of AppSped and the expansion of our web-based product family," explains Rolf Hansmann, CEO of Logistische Informationssysteme AG.
