IE Group: New investment, retrofit or decommissioning?
When the logistics system is getting on in years, the question arises for companies: upgrade, buy new or outsource completely? IE provides answers regarding possible cost savings, structural changes or integration options in the existing operating concept - with an analysis that takes into account all factors and interactions in production, intralogistics, distribution, construction and building services. It all starts with a feasibility study. This is based on an assessment of the current situation in the form of a two-day workshop. The relevant areas are examined on site at the customer's premises and a rough concept is later approved. At the same time, IE records the adaptation, renovation or renewal work. In the subsequent evaluation, particular attention is paid to measures to optimize the use of external energy in both production and building services systems as well as to sustainable maintenance. By closely coordinating all machine suppliers, construction companies and specialist engineers involved, IE's project managers ensure that individual machine lines or systems can resume production in phases. The coordination of all factors and adherence to the time and cost plan resulted in successful project implementation.
