AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik doubles its production area

With around 200 employees, AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik produces complete solutions for intralogistics and corresponding components in Luckenbach (Westerwald).

AMI increases its production and administration capacity from 7,000 to 16,000 square meters. The picture shows the new building sections from the center to the right: AMI CEO Stefan Brenner (center) at the ground-breaking ceremony surrounded by his management and local politicians. © AMI

Lightweight conveyor systems are just as much a part of the program as heavy-duty conveying. The company is optimistic about the new year and is looking to the future. The new administration and production complex, which will almost double the previous area of 7,000 m² to around 16,000 m² by the time it is inaugurated next April, sets the course for the future.

"We have done a lot in recent months to ensure the continued satisfaction of our customers for 2024 and beyond," explains Managing Director Stefan Brenner. Brenner goes on to say that this will ensure a secure supply capability for customers in the long term. In addition to the current expansion, continuous product innovations are also important at AMI.

A prime example of this is a completely new picking machine, which is now set to replace the first versions in pharmacies and other industrial and retail sectors and is already doing so. Like the various conveyor systems, this will be on display at the industry's leading trade fairs in 2024, where AMI will be exhibiting as one of the market leaders. However, the first step now is to move into the new premises so that the business can be further expanded with even more capacity. "The new building is a visible sign of consistency in our industry and this milestone marks the start of the next AMI era; I'm looking forward to it," summarizes Stefan Brenner.
