Automation solutions for greater efficiency
Swisslog will present its fully integrated automation and software solutions under the motto "The Human Side of Automation".
The employees at Swisslog not only bring in-depth industry-specific expertise to every project, they also see themselves as partners to the customer. Visitors to the trade fair will have the opportunity to find out about Swisslog's typical range of solutions, which focus on increasing speed, accuracy and efficiency as well as providing expert service throughout the entire project. Using the example of a complete package for the food and beverage industry, Swisslog will demonstrate its expertise in developing solutions and providing services - for all areas of the industry, from product manufacturing to online retail.
AI-supported applications
Visitors to the trade fair will be able to see for themselves how automation solutions can increase efficiency, reduce errors and create a more pleasant working environment. The ready-to-use ItemPiQ robotic picking system will demonstrate significant improvements made possible by AI-supported applications. With the new gripper introduced in 2023, the system can move items weighing up to three kilograms and adapt to specific item characteristics such as material, size and weight. Visitors experience a faster and better picking process live. From the camera to the software, everything comes from the Swisslog family of companies.
There is also a lot to learn about Autostore's latest R5-Pro robot. This robot-based solution has been specially developed to meet the requirements of large e-commerce operations; better space utilization, higher performance and lower total cost of ownership are the hallmarks. There will be a live presentation of ItemPiQ every day at the Swisslog stand. On March 19 at 3 p.m., dm-drogerie markt - winner of the German Logistics Award 2020 - will present the concept of the dm distribution center in Wustermark.
