Automated packaging processes require innovative safety technology. Euchner develops safety switches and safety systems for all common fieldbus systems and for communication via IO-Link and AS-i Safety at Work.
At Interpack, the company presented its latest new developments: the safe Electronic-Key system CKS2, the compact guard locking CTS and the door protection system MGB2 Modular, which is now also available for connection to the EtherCAT/FSoE fieldbus protocol. The new CKS2 key system can be used to lock and start machines and systems, to assign authorizations for selecting an operating mode or as a key transfer system. Euchner has further expanded the number of available connections to fieldbus protocols for the highly functional MGB2 Modular safety gate system. The MGB2 Modular secures access points in safety gates and fences behind which hazardous areas of machines and systems exist.
