Marijo Pesic becomes Director Product Management Rail Europe at Hellmann
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Marijo Pesic as Director Product Management Rail Europe. In this newly created position, he is responsible for the strategic development of the entire European intermodal transport in combination with rail. The aim is to further expand rail transportation within Europe as an important part of combined transport at Hellmann in order to establish environmentally friendly and at the same time cost- and time-efficient supply chains throughout Europe.
The 41-year-old transport specialist Marijo Pesic has many years of experience in combined transport. He worked for Kombiverkehr GmbH & Co. KG in Frankfurt am Main for almost 25 years, where he was most recently in charge of Eastern and South-Eastern European traffic. At Hellmann, he will use his in-depth industry expertise to strategically develop the Rail Europa product and bring new intermodal products to the European market, focusing in particular on the development of a sustainable supply chain between Europe and Turkey.
