Kögel strengthens sales in northern Germany
Torsten Lau is Key Account Manager North, Roman Luboch takes over as Area Sales Manager in the Hamburg region.
The northern sales region places very special demands on a trailer manufacturer, particularly due to its proximity to ports and container handling. With the appointment of the Key Account Management North and the Area Sales Management Hamburg Region, Kögel is responding even better to the needs of these customers.
As Key Account Manager North, Torsten Lau (58) looks after the major customers in the North sales region. It stretches north to the Danish border and south to northern Hesse. From west to east, it stretches from the Dutch to the Polish border and thus includes the federal states of Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Bremen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg and parts of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
Torsten Lau is a commercial vehicle professional with decades of experience. Before joining Kögel, the wholesale and foreign trade merchant was responsible for sales in the same region at a manufacturer of special vehicles and at well-known commercial vehicle rental companies. "With Torsten Lau, we have gained a thoroughbred commercial vehicle expert for the newly created position at Kögel. He will drive forward and expand support for key accounts in the North region," explains Stefan Sönchen, Head of Sales DACH and authorized signatory at Kögel.
As Area Sales Manager Hamburg, Roman Luboch (40) looks after customers in the greater Hamburg to Hanover area as well as in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein. Most recently, he was responsible for sales at a well-known European manufacturer of heavy trucks. "Customers from the port logistics and container handling sectors are also very important for Kögel. Roman Luboch will look after customers in the region even more closely than before," says Sönchen.
