Holger Sehr joins the board of Logistik Netzwerk Thüringen

The members of Logistik Netzwerk Thüringen have elected the entrepreneur and co-founder of cocoon GmbH, Holger Sehr, as a new member of the board. With immediate effect, he will strengthen the five-member board, for which Daniel Behlert no longer stood for election due to his move to the Zalando headquarters in Berlin. In addition, the current members of the Management Board Joachim Werner, Sven Lindig, Prof. Dr. Uwe Arnold and Robert Münnich were confirmed in their positions for the next three years.

Joachim Werner, currently acting Chairman of the Board of Logistik Netzwerk Thüringen, warmly welcomed the new Board member and emphasized: "Holger Sehr brings a wealth of experience in logistics and entrepreneurship. It is no coincidence that cocoon GmbH, which he co-founded, is not only an extremely successful provider of special transport solutions and system packaging, but also an outstanding example of success made in Thuringia. We are looking forward to a good cooperation and many new impulses for our network work."

cocoon GmbH joined the network in June of this year. The company specializes in the development and manufacture of professional transport packaging, case systems and POS packaging and also offers innovations in the field of digital transport control. Among others, market-leading manufacturers of high-quality optoelectronic devices, sensitive machine components, important capital goods and companies from the aerospace industry rely on the expertise of the company, which was founded in 2010.

Werner thanked Daniel Behlert, who had been a member of the LNT Board since 2016, for his great commitment and creative input. He was also pleased that the collaboration will not end completely, but will continue in parts. "We are already planning further joint projects and, above all, want to further intensify the 'Become A Youngster' program to promote exchange between entrepreneurs and students."

In addition to Joachim Werner and Holger Sehr, the board of the Association for the Promotion of the Thuringian Logistics Industry includes Sven Lindig, Managing Director of Lindig Fördertechnik GmbH, Prof. Dr. Uwe Arnold, Managing Partner of AHP GmbH & Co. KG, and Robert Münnich, Deputy Branch Manager of AXTHELM + ZUFALL GmbH & Co. KG in Nohra.
