Andreas Polychronakos becomes Global Sales Director of Röhlig Logistics
The owner-managed logistics company Röhlig has appointed Andreas Polychronakos as Global Director as of May 28. The sales expert joined Röhlig Germany in 2018 as Director Sales. In January 2021, he was appointed to the position of Global Air Freight Director based at Röhlig's headquarters in Bremen. He assumes responsibility for both roles, Global Director Air Freight and Global Sales Director, and reports to Hylton Gray, CEO Sea Freight, Air Freight, Contract Logistics and Sales.
Hylton Gray explains: "We are delighted to be able to fill the key position of Global Sales Director internally. Andreas Polychronakos is known for his success in developing new customers, expanding the business portfolio and growing existing customer relationships. In his new role, he will focus on Röhlig's commercial growth on a global scale."

Andreas Polychronakos succeeds Gilles Ducarme, who has left the company. Polychronakos has over ten years of experience in the logistics industry. He holds a degree in industrial engineering and was Senior Director Sales Germany at DSV Air & Sea before joining Röhlig.
