Reduction of the error rate by 80 percent using AI

The Smart Vision solution was designed from the ground up to adapt to the constraints and requirements of ID Logistics' activities. In particular, it makes it possible to reduce the error rate by 80%: the stereo vision camera continuously films the actions on the picking device and ensures detailed monitoring of the preparation process. It accurately measures the volume of parcels placed by pickers and validates the process if it is compliant. In this way, control processes are always carried out in real time. The AI integrated into the solution also interprets the data captured by the camera in real time. In this way, the system ensures immediate validation of the number of parcels deposited, increasing the reliability of the picking process.

Video tracking improves the preparation process

The images are also used in the event of a complaint to check whether the preparation process was carried out in line with expectations. This video tracking makes it possible to better identify the causes of dissatisfaction and thus continuously improve the order preparation process and the customer experience. The solution also offers a complete digitalization of the team leader position. Thanks to this tool, managers can monitor the progress of the preparation of each order in real time and effectively support the teams. Key indicators such as the quality rate, the volume still to be prepared or the conformity of palletization are also used to predict targeted corrective actions.
