psb intralogistics: 1,000 picks per hour

The highlight of psb's appearance is the presentation of the rotapick high-performance order picking system in live operation. With rotapick, picking rates of more than 1,000 picks/h can be achieved per workstation. Various operating modes such as multi-source picking, multi-order picking and multi-target picking or even combinations of these are possible. In addition, returns can be restocked economically in e-commerce. Depending on the expansion stage, the modular rotapick is able to buffer 60 source or order totes at the picking station. This eliminates uneconomical multiple transports from the warehouse to the picking station and reduces order throughput times. Another advantage is the simple order-specific sequencing of items.
