FreightHub strengthens its management team

The Berlin logistics start-up FreightHub is expanding its management team. Dr. Martin Fritsch will join the management team of the digital freight forwarder as CFO, while Johannes Saade will become the new Head of Sea Freight.

Dr. Martin Fritsch was previously CFO of DHL's cross-divisional account management and innovation unit "Customer Solutions & Innovations", which operates worldwide. In this role, he made a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of this unit and was involved in optimizing business intelligence and processing big data. In addition, he supported internal start-ups and gained experience with start-up financing in a corporate context.

Logistics expert Johannes Saade is taking over the position of Head of Sea Freight at FreightHub and will focus specifically on product quality and purchasing in the sea freight sector in this newly created role. He has more than 14 years of industry experience and was most recently responsible for sea freight as Global Head of Trade Management at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
