This applies in particular to the handling of alternative fuels (AFR) and sensitive materials. This also confirms the company's commitment to sustainability: the complementary technologies offer additional potential to safely protect the environment from hazardous materials that need to be transported. The future-oriented conveying and system technologies for bulk materials are an important component of the high ecological standards of the specialist based in Beckum, Germany.

With the recently completed acquisition of a leading US manufacturer of air-supported belt conveyors, Beumer is expanding its portfolio and strengthening its market position in the cement, minerals and mining industries. Markus Schmidt, CEO of Beumer Corporation in Somerset, New Jersey, USA, is very pleased about the addition: "The Hendrik Group specializes in the efficient and environmentally friendly transport of bulk materials. This fits in very well with our goals of offering customers sustainable products and thus improving theircarbon footprint." Founded in 1983 by Henk Hartsuiker and based in Woodbury, Connecticut, USA, the Hendrik Group serves customers in the bulk solids industry worldwide. Operations Manager Rik Hartsuiker is convinced that his father's many years of experience and expertise in air-supported conveyor technology are in the best hands at Beumer: "We are confident that those responsible will be as committed to the further development of air-assisted conveying technology as we have been."
