Clever Kanban systems for industry
Kanban systems optimize everyday production - Otto Roth showed at LogiMAT how this can look in practice. The C-parts management expert presented a Kanban concept that works with RFID technology.
The specialists are gradually optimizing the Kanban systems and adapting them to the needs of customers. One innovation, for example, is the online platform www.Kanban-Mobil.de. Here, all relevant data relating to the needs-based supply of C-Parts can be viewed centrally - anytime and anywhere, whether via PC, tablet, smartphone or via the RFID Kanban Master Box directly at the Kanban location. In addition, the RFID Master Box is now connected to the Otto Roth e-shop. Users can individually select their order online in advance and place it directly. The pick-up collection box is optionally available with a light and sound signal: If the assembly worker throws in an empty Kanban container, this can no longer be overlooked or overheard.
